We make sure that all new patients are scheduled for their new patient appointments within two weeks.
We will mail you the new patient paperwork to minimize the time you need to spend at our clinic during your visit. Completing your paperwork before your new patient appointment helps us stay on schedule and saves you time. Please ensure you have your government-issued ID and your insurance card/s for every appointment.
You will meet a Pain Treatment Centers of Georgia physician during your new patient appointment. Your physician will work with you to create your individualized treatment plan and thoroughly review all treatment options available. Please do not have any expectations regarding the pain medication we might prescribe.
All new patients will meet a physician during their new patient visit. Pain Treatment Centers of Georgia aims for all the patient appointments to be with a physician. Still, some visits will occasionally be conducted by a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner.
As a new patient, we will ask you to submit a urine sample for us to understand the medications you already take. Most of the follow-up patients will also need to provide a urine sample for us to make sure that you stay compliant with your treatment.
